thanks for the response. I figured out my mistake i didn't put it in to the file properly 

I tried to install the latest update and when i put it just keeps telling me to move the resource pack and i did and its not working i am not sure what i did wrong

lily's hint keeps telling me to go to the living room but no event takes place

Just download the hot fix and it installed as a  separate game with none of my saved files.
